About Grace Marchant.
Approach.
I am passionate about working in the legal sector because it allows me to make a positive impact and provide support to individuals, particularly during their most challenging moments when they seek legal advice. My utmost priority is to prioritise the needs of clients, ensuring that their expectations are managed effectively, and striving to deliver the best possible outcomes.
I look forward to building my knowledge and career at Britton and Time Solicitors.
Background.
I discovered my passion for Law when I chose it as an A-Level subject. It became clear to me that this was the path I wanted to pursue. Alongside Law, I delved into other subjects that equipped me with the skills necessary to excel as a solicitor. This led me to apply for Law at De Montfort University, where I actively participated in the Law and Mooting Society.
During my university journey, I developed a strong interest in people-oriented areas like criminal and family law. I found satisfaction in utilising the law to support individuals in need. Additionally, I hold a keen interest for sports law and commercial law.
Experience.
Alongside Grace’s studies, she completed a 13-month placement at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, working in their compliance department. This experience allowed her to enhance her legal skills and gain valuable insights into compliance matters, particularly in relation to data protection.
Grace achieved a first in her Law Degree from De Montfort University in 2023.
