It is with both pride and sadness that we announce the departure of our Director and Private Client Solicitor, Elisabeth Squires, from Britton and Time Solicitors.
Elisabeth has been an integral part of the firm’s growth and reputation, earning admiration from clients and colleagues alike for her meticulous, compassionate, and personable approach to every case she handled. Over her time with the firm, Elisabeth has built a remarkable record of success, including over 100 five-star client reviews, and was recognised internationally with the STEP Rising Star Award in 2024 for her excellence in private client work.
Beyond her impressive legal expertise, Elisabeth has played a pivotal role in shaping our Private Client department. She has mentored many of our solicitors and paralegals, sharing her knowledge generously and supporting team members through their studies, qualifications, and promotions. Her leadership and warmth have left a lasting mark on both our team culture and the clients who have come to trust Britton and Time with their most personal legal matters.
As she embarks on a new chapter, Elisabeth will step away from the legal profession to pursue a lifelong passion, launching her own business in the fashion industry, a personal styling venture called Senaya.
Reflecting on her time with the firm, Elisabeth shared the following words:
“My time at Britton and Time has been filled with learning, laughter, challenges, and moments of real pride. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented, generous, and inspiring people I’ve ever met. I’ll miss the team spirit more than I can say. I’m so grateful for every opportunity to grow, contribute, and be part of something meaningful. I am now handing over the reins to the fantastic Private Client team that will remain with the firm, and I cannot wait to see the amazing things that they will achieve for years to come.”
While we will miss Elisabeth deeply, we are thrilled to see her follow her dreams and take this exciting next step. Her clients remain in very capable hands with our experienced Private Client team, who will continue to uphold the high standards and professional care Elisabeth has always exemplified.
