About Daniel Beech.
Approach.
Before coming to work at Britton and Time, my understanding of the law was tantamount to judges in huge wigs shouting at the poor common people before them. That and the tv show Suits.
Despite reality not quite meeting my imagination (probably for the best), I did believe in Britton and Time’s aspirations to offer high quality legal services outside of London.
The biggest difficulty I face is in putting across Britton and Time’s brand. Trying to walk the fine line of being trusted as a centre of knowledge, as traditional solicitors are, while trying to appeal to a wider audience and break free of the stuffy, unapproachable image solicitors have sometimes had is challenging. Whether or not this strategy is working will be apparent in time!
Background.
Prior to coming to Britton and Time, I had never so much as picked up a legal textbook. Instead, I joined a prominent player in the travel industry as a fresh-faced graduate.
After 8 years in the travel industry and a stint abroad, I felt it was time to settle back down at home and that I was ready for a career change. Britton and Time felt like the right fit.
The legal industry, much like the travel industry 8 years ago, is undergoing huge changes with online functions playing an increasingly large part in the way we do business. And this is an area where I think we are perfectly poised to grow.
Experience.
Daniel holds a 2:1 Joint Honours in Chinese and French from the University of Leeds. His work experience includes roles looking after Sales and Project Management.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys training at the gym and enjoying foods from all over.
