Approach.

We are in this together. The goal is always to win and to make the journey of getting there as comfortable as possible.

Winning, depending on the case, can be the result of proving your innocence, or obtaining the lowest possible sentence (if we decide pleading guilty or accepting a favourable plea deal is in your best interest). I aim to leave all my clients with a result of ultimate satisfaction.

Your concerns are my concerns. I will go above and beyond to support you and strengthen your case, including using my external connection base and experts if required.

I will break down and provide clarity in the law, procedure, and your options throughout with ease and transparency.

Rojin has always had the desire to help those in need, naturally morphing from being the student voice representative to qualifying as a Lawyer. She cares about justice, her client’s needs and making a change for the greater good.

Rojin has significant experience with clients who have learning difficulties, mental health conditions and/or are classed by law as “dangerous”. Dealing with both private and publicly funded clients, Rojin builds a respectable rapport with clients from all walks of life, including defending youths, adults, experts, and high-profile clients with press coverage.

Upon completing her Bachelor of Law, in which she achieved an Honours, Rojin started working at a Legal 100 firm. She started her work in criminal defence in 2016 at a multinational law firm.

In 2019, Rojin completed her accreditation to become a police station representative. During that year she also completed her Master of Laws, alongside her training contract. Following admission in August 2021 she completed the Criminal Litigation Accreditation and has been certified by the Law Society as a recognised practitioner in Criminal Litigation.

Rojin has experience working in Claims Against Public Authorities, dealing with complaints and claims, and handling inquests. The claims were to establish and hold public authorities to account for misconduct when they abuse their powers, act unlawfully or fail to comply with their professional obligations.

Rojin has dealt with a wealth of criminal cases of all different types and thus has developed a skilled understanding of the law, system and procedure.

In 2021, Rojin qualified as a Solicitor. She is now part of the Britton and Time team, specialising in private criminal litigation.

Due to Rojin’s reputation and extensive knowledge of criminal law, she is often sought out by the media for her expert opinion.

2016

Rojin defended the accused in the high-profile murder at the immigration centre in Hillingdon, which attracted a lot of media coverage. The case covered the murder of a 64-year-old man who was murdered in his cell at the Colnbrook Immigration Detention Centre. Rojin carried out research and involved a range of experts to mitigate her clients’ sentences.

Her client had taken ‘spice’ before the murder and experts agreed that this caused her client to be psychotic at the time of the assault. Health experts confirmed that her client had a disordered personality and angry episodes. The client pleaded guilty to Manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility and although the judge classed the client as dangerous, did not impose a life sentence. Although the client was considered dangerous, Rojin used her objectivity and skills to build a good rapport with him.

2017

In another case taking place at the magistrates court with a bench of 2, Rojin mitigated for her client who had been charged with possession of a bladed article, stalking, and criminal damage.
