Approach.

With a pragmatic yet empathetic approach, I understand the complexities of the legal system and the emotional toll it can take on my clients. As a dedicated criminal defence solicitor, I’m known for leaving no stone unturned, meticulously examining every detail to build the strongest possible defence.

I’m deeply committed to acting in my clients’ best interests at every stage of their case, ensuring they remain informed, empowered, and vigorously defended.

My approach is built on integrity, tenacity, and results-driven case preparation. Facing a criminal charge is a hugely unsettling time, which is why I combine thorough legal expertise with genuine understanding of my clients’ circumstances.

My goal is to be not just their legal representative, but their trusted ally throughout the entire process.

Andreas Yiannaki studied Law at Oxford Brookes University, graduating in 2018, before completing a Master of Laws (LLM) combined with the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, Manchester, in 2019.

Driven by a deep-rooted sense of justice and commitment to supporting those in need, Andreas began his legal career as a Criminal Caseworker at a Legal 500 firm in London. Entrusted with managing a substantial caseload early in his career, he developed essential legal, analytical, and case management skills that form the foundation of his current practice.

He subsequently secured a training contract at a well-regarded firm, where he worked closely alongside the Managing Director on several high-profile and widely publicised cases. During his training, Andreas completed a seat in the Civil Litigation department, broadening his understanding of commercial and corporate legal matters—experience he has since integrated into his criminal law practice.

Andreas has developed particular expertise as a Motoring and Road Traffic Act offence specialist, playing a key role in achieving high success rates in exceptional hardship applications for clients facing licence disqualification.

In 2023, Andreas completed his Police Station Representation Accreditation and has since maintained a strong record of securing No Further Action (NFA) decisions and case dismissals at the police station stage, often preventing cases from progressing to court entirely.

2022

Assisted in defending a client charged with Sexual Assault of a Child under 13. Through thorough investigation, helped obtain medical evidence of the client’s chronic condition that explained the circumstances. The defence team successfully cross-examined witnesses and presented medical evidence at trial, resulting in a Not Guilty verdict.

Assisted in representing a client charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition after a loaded pistol was found in his work locker. The defence team successfully challenged the prosecution’s case by demonstrating absence of fingerprint evidence and highlighting security issues with the lockers. Prosecution offered no evidence.

2023

Assisted in representing two minors interviewed for alleged aggravated robbery and ABH involving an airsoft weapon. Following police station representation, no further action was taken.

Assisted a senior partner in representing a client charged with murder and controlling prostitution for gain.

2024

Assisted in defending a client charged with Aggravated Robbery, GBH, False Imprisonment and Theft in connection with a £1,000,000 cryptocurrency heist. Despite being named by the complainant and initial phone evidence placing him at the scene, Andreas helped obtain counter cell site data proving the client was elsewhere during the offence. Prosecution offered no evidence, and all charges were dropped.

2025

Andreas assisted in the successful defence of a client facing driving disqualification after multiple offences. They submitted a successful Exceptional Hardship application on the grounds that the client was speeding due to his pregnant wife being in premature labour whilst home alone. The client and his wife had previously suffered a miscarriage, and his driving on the day was due to him wanting to help his wife with the safe arrival of their newborn. In addition, Andreas presented that any disqualification of the client’s license would impact his employment, which as he was the sole earner in the family, now with a newborn child, would impact the family exceptionally. The Court accepted the Exceptional Hardship application, and the client was not disqualified.

Assisted in representing a specialist medical professional facing a driving ban. Andreas, alongside instructed counsel, submitted a successful Exceptional Hardship application on the grounds that, as she was one of only 4 specialists in London, she needed to drive to continue her duties and emergency callouts.
