I prioritise a client-focused approach in everything I do, taking time to understand each person’s unique circumstances and concerns. I aim to provide clear, practical guidance that helps clients feel informed, reassured, and confident in their decisions.
I believe that effective legal support goes beyond technical expertise; it’s about listening carefully, responding thoughtfully, and building trust. By maintaining open communication and acting in clients’ best interests, I strive to make what can be a stressful or complex process as straightforward and supportive as possible.
Alex’s journey into law began with a desire to combine problem-solving with meaningful client support. After graduating with a 2:1 in Law from the University of Sussex, he developed a strong foundation across succession, family, and property law.
His commitment to helping others took practical form during his time as a student adviser at Citizens Advice, where he supported clients through complex benefits, housing, and safeguarding matters. Alex conducted legal research, drafted correspondence, and guided clients through challenging procedures. He takes particular pride in the direct support he provided to vulnerable clients, helping them complete crucial applications that made real differences to their lives.
Through commercial and property law internships, Alex gained valuable exposure to legal practice, contributing to document preparation, file management, and client liaison work. These experiences reinforced his appreciation for precision and client-centred service in real-world legal transactions.
Beyond his legal studies, Alex developed strong leadership and organisational skills as captain of his university’s Hockey Club, where he led both team activities and club events. These experiences shaped his professional approach, emphasising diligence, teamwork, and effective client support.
Now working as a legal assistant, Alex is building toward his goal of qualifying as a solicitor, where he aims to combine technical expertise with his naturally client-focused approach to help individuals and businesses navigate their legal needs with confidence.
