I spend time to really get to know my clients and their circumstances, as well as conducting through preparation and research, so I can provide advice that’s not only legally sound but personally meaningful. Building trust and rapport is central to how I work; I want every client to feel heard, understood, and reassured that they have someone on their side who genuinely cares about their outcome.
Clients often describe me as approachable and reassuring. My focus is always on reducing conflict where possible while protecting my clients’ interests with determination. I aim to resolve matters efficiently and cost-effectively, helping people move forward with clarity and peace of mind.
Abraham is a solicitor with nearly two years’ post-qualification experience and over eight years in the legal profession. He began his legal career in 2017 as a Paralegal and was quickly entrusted with his own caseload before progressing to Trainee Solicitor and then qualifying, developing a broad practice across Family Law, Wills, Immigration, and Dispute Resolution.
His decision to pursue a career in law, particularly family law, was driven by a desire to help individuals navigate some of the most emotionally charged and challenging periods of their lives. He finds great satisfaction in guiding clients through uncertainty and witnessing their transformation as they regain stability and control over their futures.
From the outset of his career, Abraham has been passionate about improving the client experience, with a strong emphasis on clear communication at every stage. Since qualifying, he has built a reputation for handling complex family finance and international divorce matters, as well as contentious probate cases involving cross-border elements.
He studied Law at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, where he developed an interest in comparative and international law. He later earned a Distinction in his MSc in Global Environmental Politics and Policy at Birkbeck, University of London, before qualifying via the SQE at the University of Law while working. His academic background and analytical mindset enable him to navigate nuanced legal and factual issues with precision and care.
2018
In one of his earliest major cases, Abraham secured urgent occupation and non-molestation orders for a client locked out of her home, leading to a culturally significant annulment and a successful financial settlement.
2019
2019–2020: He acted in multiple domestic abuse and financial relief cases, securing findings of domestic violence and protecting clients’ assets against excessive or unjustified claims.
2020
Abraham defended a fiancé who was being sued by their ex for the gifts given to them throughout their relationship, obtaining summary judgment and a costs order to the client’s benefit.
2021
Abraham was involved in a Supreme Court matter refining costs principles in family finance cases, which strengthened his approach to cost protection and client funding.
2022
Defended a client against a partner seeking his client’s family’s assets in addition to the matrimonial pot, protecting the family’s investments and ultimately securing a clean-break order.
2023
Abraham set aside a consent order obtained by misrepresentation for an illiterate client and acted for an intervenor father to preserve his beneficial interest in properties threatened by his son’s divorce proceedings.
2024
Secured indefinite leave to remain and a non-molestation order for a client escaping an abusive marriage. He also successfully challenged a coercively obtained prenuptial agreement, protecting the client’s financial security, defending against an overly litigious partner.
2025
Represented a high-net worth client in complex financial remedy proceedings involving international assets and expert valuation evidence. He also managed a contested probate matter requiring urgent witness tracing and will validation.
