Approach

I approach every client with friendliness and openness, believing that clarity is paramount in legal matters. The law can be incredibly convoluted, and my aim is to simplify complex issues and guide clients toward genuine understanding. I’m passionate about making the law accessible to everyone through clear, straightforward communication.

Building a strong foundation of trust with clients is central to everything I do. I want to make the challenges they’re facing a little easier to navigate. I value collaboration, both within our team and with clients themselves. Good communication is a key part in achieving the best outcomes for clients, and as a client-centric firm, this is vital.

Abigail was motivated to pursue a career in law by a desire to protect people’s rights, particularly in areas where they’re most threatened. She graduated in July 2024 from the University of Sussex with a first-class degree in Law with American Studies, demonstrating exceptional academic achievement.

During her studies, Abigail gained valuable hands-on experience working at the Migration Law Clinic, helping immigrants who don’t qualify for legal aid with asylum applications, family reunification, visas, and deportation notices. This work strengthened her legal research, drafting, and advisory skills while providing crucial experience supporting vulnerable clients. She’s particularly proud of her work with Lewes Prison, developing resources for inmates who have received one-stop notices.

Abigail aims to specialise in immigration law, driven by her passion for global collaboration and cultural integration. Her year studying at Georgetown University in Washington DC broadened her legal perspective through fascinating courses, including CIA law, human rights, criminal justice, and presidential law. A highlight during Abigail’s time in America was attending a class held at the White House.

Abigail has published a legal article in the LaPSE of Reason blog examining protestor rights and unfair espionage charges, demonstrating her analytical skills and developing her interest in criminal law.

Her practical experience includes work placements covering family, personal injury, property, and wills. This diverse background has shaped Abigail into someone who combines academic excellence with real-world experience and a genuine commitment to making legal services accessible to those who need them most.
