About the Role.

To support our growing Private Client and Dispute Resolution practice, we are seeking an ambitious and client-focused Dispute Resolution Solicitor with experience in contentious probate, trusts, and wills. This role is based in our Hove office and offers an excellent platform for a newly-qualified solicitor or one with up to 4 years’ PQE who is eager to develop expertise in high-value and complex estate disputes.

You will manage your own caseload with support from senior team members, handling disputes relating to wills, inheritance claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, trust disputes, executor/beneficiary conflicts, and related contentious probate matters. The role also involves client meetings, drafting pleadings, and exploring alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation.

In addition, you will contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and thought leadership, to strengthen our reputation in contentious probate and trust litigation.

You’ll be trusted with:

  • Autonomy in your role to deliver your billing target
  • Long-term career prospects ranging from management responsibilities to directorship and equity options
  • Responsibility and opportunities to manage client relationships
