I’m committed to putting my clients first, providing empathetic and tailored care during what are often pivotal moments in their lives. I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable and respected throughout their legal journey. Clear communication is at the heart of my practice; I prioritise transparency and accessibility to empower clients in their decision-making process.

Beyond my work with individual clients, I’m passionate about community engagement and actively seek opportunities to give back.

Megan’s legal journey began at age 15 when she carried out work experience at a solicitor’s firm. Working on a family matter, she witnessed firsthand how solicitors can have a positive and profound impact on people’s daily lives. This experience ignited her desire to pursue a career in law, aspiring to offer support and advocacy to those in need.

She went on to study Law at the University of Brighton, taking particular interest in Tort Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, and Equity and Trusts. During her university years, Megan was actively involved in the Legal Society, Debate Society, and Amnesty Society, demonstrating her commitment to legal and social issues.

Upon graduating, Megan launched her legal career in Civil Litigation, specialising in debt recovery. Acting for claimants seeking to recover monies owed, she handled a large volume of cases, often of high value. Her responsibilities included drafting particulars of claims, witness statements, and bundles, responding to counterclaims as a Part 8 Defendant, and representing clients during mediation.

This experience allowed her to gain strong litigation and client care skills, enhancing her legal acumen and knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules. Megan regularly dealt with defendants in vulnerable and stressful circumstances, striving to make the process as smooth as possible.

Megan joined the Private Client team at Britton and Time as a Paralegal in 2024. Her ultimate goal is to complete a training contract to qualify as a solicitor, with plans to specialise in private client work, family law, and criminal law.
