Training and experience.
Elisabeth’s passion for law started during her A-level studies. When decisions about university came around, there was no hesitation about studying law at university.
During her time at university, Elisabeth was drawn to the idea of being able to empower and help people, which sparked a new passion for pursuing a legal career.
Elisabeth graduated with a degree in law from the University of Southampton in 2012. She has a glistening career including receiving a distinction in her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Moorgate. Elisabeth qualified as a solicitor under the Solicitors Regulation Authority in 2020.
Additionally, she trained at a top boutique law firm in central London, gaining experience in wills, probate, contentious probate, powers of attorney and commercial litigation.

2020
Assisted a disabled client with the challenge of locating her father’s will after he passed away from Covid-19 in April 2020 whilst also helping them to navigate lockdowns with their disabilities and issues around the misappropriation of assets by another beneficiary.
Supported the daughter of a local business owner after he passed away to organise management of his various properties, register his death which took place overseas, and scope the extent of his estate. During this matter, Elisabeth also helped the deceased’s daughter with the transfer of leases so that the local businesses could continue operating and generating income from the estate.
Applied to the court to remove an executor of an estate worth in excess of £2 million due to a loss of mental capacity and ensured the continuation of the remaining executor.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Elisabeth continued to draft and execute wills for her clients and even set up a window will signing service to help protect people isolating and ensure that their estate was managed and distributed according to their wishes.
2021
Represented and supported a beneficiary with an international estate, with assets located in South Africa, Greece, and the UK. This was a particularly sensitive case where the client, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, needed protection from the executor of the will and family members who were threatening them.
Instructed, drafted and signed a will within 24 hours for a client who was concerned that they were going to pass away whilst abroad.
Successfully applied to the High Court for the removal of an executor who had mismanaged funds in a large estate consisting of five rental properties. Elisabeth ensured that new independent executors were appointed to investigate that mismanagement on behalf of the beneficiaries and complete the administration process.
Completed winding up an estate that had been left for 15 years before completion and worked with international beneficiaries to assist them in finally receiving their benefit from the estate.
2022
Assisted with an international estate which was affected by local jurisdictions and left unadministered for 20 years. Elisabeth liaised with local legal support in the Carribean to remove retired executors, involving an application to the High Court and obtaining revised grants of probate.
Following the death of the executor of an estate, assisted the family in an application for double probate to allow the executors of the deceased executor to administer the initial estate and completed the administration affecting around £3 million of assets.
Provided expertise to the litigation team for a successful application for enhanced provision from an estate by the dependent wife of the deceased to increase her share of the estate from 1% to 60%.
Acted as attorney for an elderly woman who had no family, administering the sale of her house to fund care home fees.
2023
Drafted, organised, and executed a deathbed will within 3 hours for a client who was sick with terminal cancer. Elisabeth was also later instructed on the administration of the estate and supported the family and friends to successfully obtain the grant of probate within 7 months of the death.
Completed the administration of an intestate estate on behalf of the deceased’s daughter who was just 20 years of age. The estate included numerous pensions, assets in the US, and business assets.
Liaised with US attorneys to extract over £1m from an American account for the benefit of a charitable trust.
Unravelled and distributed assets held in a life interest trust to the beneficiaries, bringing the trust to an end.
2024
Made a successful application to the High Court for rectification of a Will where the name of a beneficiary had been misspelled and there was question over the correct beneficiary’s identity.
Nominated for an award as Best Legacy Partner to the Legal Sector for extensive work and fundraising for charitable organisations through the Community Wills Sussex legacy giving programme.
