Need Advice from a Lawyer in Eastbourne?
How do consultations work?
1. Call, email or fill out an enquiry form
We’ll arrange your consultation for you and take payment so you can focus on your case when you arrive.
If there are important documents involved, it’s best to send these to our lawyers ahead of your meeting, so we can talk about your options instead of reading.
If your case is urgent, we have last minute appointments available so you can get the advice you need.
2. Attend your untimed consultation
Don’t worry if your case is complicated, you can take as long as you need. Some cases can be explained in a matter of minutes, some take much longer. That’s just how it is.
We won’t watch the clock, so you can explain your matter in comfort and confidence.
Take the time you need to ask any questions you have. It’s our job to answer them and help you understand where you stand.
3. Get your options and fee quotes
Our Eastbourne lawyers will make sure you understand all your options, and give you fee estimates and timescales associated with your case.
There’s no obligation to go ahead. The main thing is that you know where you stand legally.
Unlike other firms, we offer comprehensive fee estimates that include the overall estimated fees for your case, rather than the costs for parts of it.

Frequently
Asked Questions
What legal areas do you cover?
Our lawyers in Eastbourne are experts in civil litigation, criminal defence, employment law, family law, landlord and tenant disputes, professional negligence, and private client work, including will writing, powers of attorney and probate.
We also offer commercial services for businesses, including contract reviews and drafting, commercial litigation and commercial property services.
Do you offer remote consultations?
Of course. We understand some clients may be shielding, which is why our lawyers in Eastbourne are happy to offer phone consultations, or meetings over video conferencing tools.
For face-to-face meetings, we always ensure adequate distance between our clients and lawyers.
Are there any legal areas you don't cover?
We currently don’t offer residential or commercial conveyancing services and legal advice on immigration, but we hope to be launching these services soon.
Our criminal defence services don’t currently cover crimes of a sexual nature, or child abuse.
If you can’t see the legal area you’re looking for, give us a call and one of our team will let you know whether we can help.
Do you offer legal services for businesses?
Yes, our experience extends to business-to-business disputes, contract drafting, redundancy consultation advice and breaches of contract, employment tribunal defences, and licensing, amongst others.
How much is an initial consultation?
We charge £108 inclusive of VAT for initial consultations. We don’t believe in clock watching, or hurrying you out the door, and we’ll always give you advice that can move your case forward, even if you choose not to instruct our firm.
Do you offer legal aid or pro bono work?
While we would love to take on legal aid work, the number of practices who can offer legal aid is restricted by the government.
We don’t possess a legal aid certificate and are therefore unable to take on legal aid work.
We are also unable to offer pro bono work at present.
