About Josephine Busharra.
Approach.
Clients are the main focus in the legal field, therefore, being the first point of contact for a client is rewarding as it allows me to deal with their enquiries effectively and efficiently, as well as provide an excellent service.
Britton and Time value client experience and always expect their fee earners to provide high standards of client care. This encourages me to always work with a great attitude and to hold myself accountable for the experience clients receive.
Background.
Being born in Sudan and moving to the United Kingdom at a young age compelled me to want to assist vulnerable migrants in the rigorous immigration system as I had been through it. This experience paved my interest in law, as I studied it further, every aspect of the legal system intrigued me.
Throughout my time studying and volunteering, I gained valuable experience and skills, but the greatest outstanding skill gained was dealing with clients and handling their sensitive legal matters in a way that still allowed them to tell their story and to receive the legal advice that was needed.
Experience.
Graduated with a degree in Law with Criminology from the University of Sussex, then went on to graduate from the University of Law in Guildford where I completed my Legal Practice Course and a master’s degree specialising in immigration law.
Volunteered with both the Migration Law Clinic and Voices in Exile, which are pro-bono organisations assisting those unable to access justice through the normal route.
Outstanding Solicitor
Really pleased with the service I got here today. The practice assistant, Josephine Busharra, was so lovely and fitted me in last minute for an urgent matter.
